  Nice hotel complex in the middle of nowhere, especially if you want to visit Magura cave or Belogradchik. The food was fine, the rooms were clean but nothing too special. It could have been a bit warmer inside our room (around 5 degrees outside and maybe 20 in our room). Staff were attentive too.

  For the restaurant: Staff is alright, but short in numbers. There's only a single person in the kitchen and we had to wait a ridiculous amount of time to get basic meals. To think it's general lunch time 12-1PM and not have this organised is just plain stupid.

  Terribly slow service. Waited an hour and a half for my meal. Would not reccomend eating here at all.

  Please bear with my long post if you want to enjoy your visit to the nearby cave.
  1) For those who don't want to read everything here is the conclusion: stay elsewhere (of course it will be far from the cave but you will thank me), visit the cave, have a lunch here at the hotel. Nothing more!
  2) Positives: surrounding nature, nice staff, ok meals at the restaurant, cheap beverages and food, bike and kayak rentals (there is nearby lake).
  3) Negatives:
  - ants in the room! Not 1 or 2 but a colony! The manager sprayed with some stuff and then the floor was again wiped by the ladies but despite the efforts still some ants remained on the floor. Thankfully there were just few on the bed
  - no AC. Ok, there is central heating for the winter but I doubt this is hotel's strongest period And no AC in August is absurd If you still want to visit this place, pick up North facing room (which however is 5m from the passing road).
  - swimming pool. Just awfully dirty but still preferred by the locals as obviously they do not have a choice And it is really small. Even if you decide to enter, one dive and you are on the other side.
  - locals visiting the restaurant and the swimming pool. Arrogant, stupid, selfish, loud. They can ruin your idea of having a nice (and eventually calm, quiet) time.

  The food at the restaurant was horrible! The soup was a mixture of instant soup from a package and flower. They didn't even ask why I didn't eat it

  The view is stunning, the food was decent, and the bungalows are wonderful. It really is a place for the peace of mind.
