Was supposed to see a movie about Caribbean, but it turned out to be 30 low resolution pictures that needed 10 minutes each to explain what it was on them. Best part is, I had o pay for this. Place itself is a bit rundown at best, it's like a time capsule frozen in the 1970th.

One of the oldest and best programmed movie theaters in the city and recently they even opened quite a nice bar/ coffee place in the first floor, which I'm sure can be used in a hundred useful ways. I love watching movies there and sometimes I even go without knowledge of the programme and just give whatever they have a chance. The cinema participates in every film festival in the city and sometimes the movies stay there afterwards, they have a 35 mm projection also. They don't sell popcorn and you can eat or drink inside, which is a typical thing for this kind of independent movie theatres in the city.

Nice atmosphere, big and with comfortable seats. Usually with good selection of movies, showing not only the most mainstream ones. Can be a bit cold inside in Winter. My favorite movie theater in Sofia.

One of the few "traditional" cinema halls in Sofia that survived the advance of the shopping malls' multiplexes. Home of indie and non-commercial films, Bulgarian productions and thematic festivals. Not the best viewing experience and clearly needs funding.
