The church is lovely, we even got to see something special thanks to the curator. We also enjoyed the exhibition of old maps.

It was built in 893 BC. In early times it was used as a monastery, built by the first Slavic archbishop of St. Kliment. This monastery was also the first Slavic University, which included the oldest in Europe Medical School

A great place to visit. Also a good setting for photos. A reach historical place, the old town of Nessebar, is a great place to visit when exploring the Bulgarian coast line.

The church is part of the local museum tour, the architecture is wonderful, the park outside is great to take a break, and the inside has a great cartography museum, very interesting.

The church is a museum, it is a medium size church for the area and very well preserved. You can see inside only if you pay a fee.

A cruciform dome church with three altar niches, a narthex and a bell tower above the narthex! Built in the first half of 14th century

The church is one of the best preserved examples of late Byzantine architecture in the world. And of course there is going to be an entry fee - it is a museum, not a religious building. Also there is an interesting cartography exhibition inside!
