Hope good
Overall it's a bus station. The main area is crowded with ticket booths but there are facilities for luggage drop off and a bathroom. The place is kept clean and tidy. Speaking English will get you Somewhere anyways
This bus station is right beside the main railway station of Sofia and also the Metroquite useful for hitting the city hotels. There is one destination that is lackingor maybe I didn't see it? That's the airport? I was forced to take a taxi at 06:00 and despite checking and agreeing a fare of 15 levI was actually asked for 35 lev!!! I refused to pay and called airport security overat which point the cab sped off.
The bus station is clean and tidyI notice that another comment bemoaned paying to use the toilets? The price is 0.50 lev or about 17p in English money?
I agree that English is not widely spoken and that some of the younger workers actually refuse to speak it, for no obvious reason? But in general the few words and lots of pointing seem to get the required information?
Buses are many and frequent and although the waiting area and ticketing facilities are cleanthe outside boarding areas are decidedly scruffy.
Not the worst place I've ever beenbut watch out for the rip off taxis to the airport!!!
