The Sofia bus ticket office is a small office that looks more like a tour bus operator, next to the sektors..and took me 10 mins to locate. But okay station..Cheery enough.
As expected however word of caution: if you're taking a coach further afield don't assume the toilet is working. Our bus driver pulled over on the motorway to berate someone and try and throw them off the bus for using it Not cool.
One of the main bus stations in the city. Buses to/from Sofia stop here. The main building is very small and often crowded. On the positive side it's close to the city center (15min. walking) and just right next to the railway station and the other big bus station - "Rodopi"
It is good to have some people who speak English, there is an exchange office with slightly better exchange rates (go out of the coach station behind the kiosks and turn right there is a small booth on the right around 50-100m) but beware of not English speaking but aggressive drivers. I hope to see this place a bit brighter and modern soon :)
