Charming hostel/inn in the old town, I enjoyed the central location and the quietness; rustic style is charming indeed, with the backyard terrace. The welcome is very warm! The only drawback is to actually get to the place (or leave it), as taxis refuse to take the cobblestones streets leading to it. If you don't mind carrying your suitcases and take buses, it is fine. :) If you can, ask for a room on the second floor.

This is a wonderful guest house/hostel, stunning restoration, perfect location with a pleasant common room and garden.
Really helpful and friendly staff who offer an induction meeting and orientation.
The breakfast room is partially excavated to show Roman structure.
Loved our stay and would have readily spent far longer here.response / report this review -

Staying at this beautiful Bulgarian Revival style house is the best way to experience the Bulgarian Renaissance first hand. Located at the heart of the old town and the contemporary center of the city of Plovdiv you won't need your car as everything is within walking distance. The service is better than any of the places we've stayed at home in the U.S. - they really care about providing the best experience for their guests. We will definitely come back next time we visit Plovdiv. This is a promise!
