It used to be a nice little airport after the renovations but things seem to be quickly going downhill. Out of season a big part of the terminal is closed off, almost no stores are working and even the toilets are not available for use. The one in the photo says it’s closed for cleaning but it never really gets cleaned or open and the only open toilet smells strong enough to make you lose your breakfast. Meanwhile the cleaning lady is standing in some corner looking at her phone.

Very nice airport in Bulgaria. Even though it's small it works very smoothly. There's a Macdonald's and some coffee shops. Clean toilets.

They need to organize the lines better at the check-in counters to provide fair service to all. For example, when new counter is open to expedite service people from the back rush and don't care about those have been waiting for long time. It is done at every airport with high traffic, One lineup with multiple counters. Agent waves to you and you go, that simple! The rest of the airport is fine, but this is what you see first!!!

Modern style, compact design and well equipped overall. Good handling agency with variety of services. PCR can be done on the spot. There are pharmacy, grocery,bars and restaurants. Connected with metro station,bus station and taxi station.

It's a small airport, but cosy and nice. I think it's better than Sofia Airport. There's a nice duty free shop, a few Costa cafes, Victoria's Secret and a nice view to the planes. A big plus is the "terrace" - an outside space with a few tables and a small cafe where one can get some fresh air or enjoy the sun. It's right next to Gate 7.

I was surprised that it's so modern and colorful. The prices tho'. They are exorbitant. I paid less on the airports in the Western countries.

The airport is very good, we just need to invest some more money in advertising it. Varna is a place that needs to have more and more tourists every year.

small airport, mainly used for tourists travelling to the black sea and the gold strand. we arrived via a flight with sunexpress from munich to varna and some shoes where stolen out ouf our (sport) bulky luggage upon arrival. we never had such an expirience at any airport before. as often some of the airport staff took care but without any real result about the stolen items. however small convinient airport with clean infrastructure.

I only used the arrivals hall meeting someone. Wide parking lot. It was a bit confusing at first as the GPS insisted that I park in a dark place but then I realised this was the parking. Then it was all clear. There are more than enough parking spaces. Interior is very nice. Cafe is great for long waits, sofas and comfy chairs
