Good hostel with really friendly staff just outside town. It's a short walk from a metro station so it's easy to get to the centre and the train station.

You have the choice between dorms and rooms really huge, clean and comfy (27euros/night). Not in the city centre but the hostel is 5 min away from the metro (then, 5 stations to serdika) or by taxi it costs 5 lev. Definitely to recommend.

Located in a quiet residential area. Everything clean. Walking distance to supermarket and metro. By walk it's 40~50 mins walk from the central (attractions sites). Right next to a park full of trees to chill out.

We hate to leave bad reviews but could never recommend this place. There are far better hostels in the centre of Sofia. There is only one shared a bathroom and no social area or atmosphere at all. The hostel is in a bad position, miles away from the centre, to top it off there was a strange man who scared the life out of me and my girlfriend, he stared at us and followed us around I in the middle of the night in the shared dorm and we saw him going through people's coats and bags, apparently he was a member of staff! We had to leave early. Not a good experience in the slightest, try Hostel Mostel or the Art Hostel in the centre. Also my bed smelt like urine!

I have been on 50+ hostels. This is the worst one! Don't stay here. Dirty, not central at all broken mattress springs. Not good!

Good position (close to metro station ) quite atmosphere and personnel are very polite. The kitchen could be have more pods. Bit of more maintenance and they will have 5 stars

Great atmosphere and friendly staff - feels very homely. It is cheap, there is WiFi, washing machine and delicious communal kitchen. We slept two nights and met many nice people - got great ideas for our own onward travel and tips for good areas and restaurants we could visit in Sofia. The place really brings people together. A small minus is the mattress - it would be wrong to say that it was pleasant. But all in all a lovely place and it is very close to a subway - can only be recommended.
