We left this place yesterday and we still haven't quite got over how good it is: immense room (in the main building) beautifully- designed and absolutely spotless throughout, excellent bathroom(though a shower screen/curtain would help), pleasant restaurant with tasty regional food, all set in beautiful countryside. The fact that we were charged for extra coffee at breakfast without being told this would be so forfeits the fifth star, which is a bit of a shame - the place would otherwise get deserved top marks for everything, not least very friendly and helpful staff.

'Ongal' surprised us with beautiful style and comfort, large rooms, styled bathrooms and many detailed ideas. A restaurant with delicious and fresh regional food, we could savour under the trees or in the Buddha Bar. In the huge yard we also could swim, ride a horse, use the fitness, play.
Every question or request of ours was answered. Incredibly good people! Near by the Krushuna Falls and the Devetashka Cave, which we visited. Such a beauty! And one of the breathtaking experiences was the hang gliding. By car we reached many places. Just a perfect spot to be.

We spent a wonderful weekend staying in Ongal and visiting some of the many interesting places nearby - Krushuna falls, Devetashka cave, Garvanitsa cave and more. The people were great. And the food was delicious (with fresh homegrown products).
