The sign reads: Nature Reserve 'The Old Plane Tree'. Declared a protected object by Forest Head Administration Sofia (Order 995 / 20 April 1960). Species: Oriental plane (Platanus Orientalis). Base diameter 3.5m, Circumference 11m, Height: 17m. Age calculated using Presler's auger method: 680 years.
