Restaurant CLOSED between 3pm until 7pm on a Saturday ! Two waitresses, which couldn't hide their surprise to see clients, could only recommend other place to go eat Pitty, because the homemade rhum specialities looked temptingbut we won't go back!
A wonderfully quaint spot to stay in Banfora. This was my "basecamp" for four days as my family and I toured the many incredible sites around Banfora in the Cascades Region.
We stayed in one of the two villa apartments for $90/night (50,000CFA). Having the swimming pool right there was great for our kids.
The restaurant was fantastic, you just need to order well enough in advance.
I highly recommend you have the hotel staff find you a properly licensed tour guide for your excursions. You'll be approached by many sketchy guys on the street offering their services. We ran into two situations while out and about where our pro guide saved the day.
Great place to stay and to eat! There are not so many nice places in Burkina as this hotel
C'est un bel endroit tranquille avec une excellente piscine mais le staff laisse à désirer.
Was here in July 2013! Stayed here as apart of a Study abroad summer in Ouagadougou. Such a beautiful hotel and amazing huts!!
Also the restaurant was AMAZING! The steak with some kind of yellow sauce was the best steak I've ever tasted. Will hopefully be back sometime in my lifetime! So many good memories :)
Le cadre est enchanteur
Site looks historical
Both the hotel and restaurant were fine. Like most places people seem stunned when you show up, want to order, want the bill, buy the rum etc. They sell gourmet butter may as well by some to go with the copious amounts of French bread.
Pittoresque. Rhum local a déguster !
Enjoy Banfora!
Air conditioner, roof fun, TV, and electic power, available. Not so high charges.
