Facilities a bit old and very crowded

On entering the extremely steep entrance to the site our motor home bottomed on the road. The same when we left. We are quite high off the ground and this has never happened before. Pitches are in the dunes so you have to test out the ground before you park. We had a decent sized pitch, many are very tight! Chemical waste etc disgusting! Toilets very old only just acceptable. Location good.

WORST PLACE EVER! After being promised a spot for my tent, and started to pitch up, the manager came over flashing a blue light shouting at us to leave. He refused to let us stay at 1am and kicked us out. No reason whatsoever we just were looking for a quick stop to sleep before cycling off the next day.

Terrible facilities.
Geografically a top point spot.
Almost directly on the beach.
Price is very cheap but 1 service house for a crowd of like 500 ppl.
Is just not enuff.
The very low standard on the toilets and the maintainance is draggin my points down in the dirt.

Conveniently an hour's drive east of Calais. €32 incl elec for 2 nights in August. This is a large sandy site mainly for what looks like permanent small caravans but pitches also for motorhomes, caravans and tents. Right next to the beach and within walking distance of a small town for food and drinks.
Site has basic facilities: toilets, washing up facility, laundry, showers, free wi-fi in the office. It's quiet and the beach is huge. Good place for sand and wind surfers.response / report this review -

Beautiful camping next to the dunes and the beach. It has a restaurant with acceptable food. Toilets are clean. Showers too. There is Wi-Fi in the reception area. It's quiet at night and troublemakers are not tolerated.

If you enjoy the close vicinity to the ocean and if you don't consider sand as dirt you might enjoy staying here.
Some strange rules exist: e.g. dish washing after 9pm is prohibited.
