In 1910, Henri Wittamer opened his boulangerie with his wife Marie. Since then the shop has gained an international reputation and is now run by the 4th generation of the family.
On the first floor, you will find the signature-pink tearoom offering unparalleled views over the buzzing place and where you will join locals for a warm drink and a selection of the house specialties. A Brussels classic.

The tastiest hot chocolate of Brussels, the taste is out of this world, and served with little pralines. The interior is very pretty, the cafe is located on top of the chocolaterie. If you are a tourist in Brussels, don't miss it!

Was dropped here to start my wandering of the area. Amazing pastry shop. Pricey but worth it. Great service end friendly staff gave me tips on where to wander. Stop in enjoy the food. Bonus is that there are a ton of chocolate places all around the square here

Very bad service, we waited for more than 15 minutes before someone took our orders. Waitress made 3 mistakes on our orders, mixed up tea with coffee, wrong flavour of ice-cream, ordered coffee but given espresso, on top of that they over charged us. We ordered two patisserie a table but they charged us for three. I wish there would be an option of Zero star rating, which this place really deserves.

In the heart of Brussels, in the antiques shop area. A upmarket market takes place on Sunday with all manner of bric-a-brac. This chocolatier is renowed. Nice little tea shop.

Pastries are top notch. The three stars is for the staff not letting customers know beforehand about the extra prices if they want to have the pastries in the outdoor seating area. The pastries we ordered were priced at about 5 Euro each, but we weren't notified that each one would cost 8+ Euro if we had them on one of their tables outside. Could've and should've done takeout and saved money for a second trip which we never made happen.
