L'accueil au restaurant fut agréable. Personnel sympathique et serviable. J'ai mangé le menu à 19.00€ croquettes de fromage en entrée, dinde au champignons / frites / salade en plat et un café en guise de dessert. La qualité était au rendez-vous. Je recommande la terrasse très agréable.

During summer holiday, me and my family decided to have lunch here. We ordered some drinks and meals. The drinks came quite swiftly served in standard bottles, but after 45 minutes of waiting we decided to ask when our food would be ready.
That's when we heard that they were going to start preparing the meals in a few minutes. The place was not busy at all at that time so they had probably been doing nothing for that whole time. We were not amused by this way of treatment from a restaurant to say the least, so we decided to leave the place on an empty stomach and search for a place where you could get the feeling that you are actually a guest instead of just a money-giver.
After all, in The Netherlands we are used to paying for a restaurant for the service and great time you're going to have there and not just for the food. The owner of the place was standing outside, he was physically blocking us from leaving the restaurant because he wanted us to pay €20,- for 5 drinks we hadn't even finished.
When we said that we were not going to pay because of the absolutely horrible service we had gotten the owner started attacking us, grabbing us in the neck and pushing us, threatening to call to police and pushing phones out of hands.
After waiting more than half an hour we decided to pay for the drinks because we were done with waiting around and being harassed, even then we kept on going by NOT LETTING US PAY. First saying that they only accepted cash and later on not letting us put the credit card in the machine ourselves so we couldn't see what they were trying to charge us.
After all: a horribly experience which left us wondering how this place still exists.

Wat betreft het restaurant; redelijke service, en het eten werd ook vrij snel bediend, maar qua smaak was het zeer matig. Een voorgerecht met conflicterende smaken waar totaal niet over nagedacht is, een inspiratieloos slaatje en vlees waarvan je je afvraagt of het ooit in aanraking is gekomen met kruiden. Voor het dessert zijn we ergens anders naartoe gegaan, dus daar kan ik niet over oordelen.

We hebben er een nachtje geslapen ik vond de kamers en badkamers wat klein. We hadden wel een mooi zicht op de kerstmarkt.
De hygiëne is goed maar kan wel beter.

Gentillesse et le professionnalisme du personnel à souligner !!!Nous sommes arrivé avec un bébé de 13 mois sans avoir prévenu..en mois de 5 min un lit cage avait été installéPersonnel de la réception et du bar d'une extrême amabilité quand il s'agissait de réchauffer biberons ou panades de mon filsj'y retournerai sans hésitation.

Ik heb hier heerlijk gegeten, leuke samengestelde menu's voor weinig, of van de kaart. Alles zag er tot in de puntjes verzorgd uit ook, op het bord, maar ook het restaurant

We used the hotel as a base for a 3 day golfing trip in the region.
First, they had no room for one extra night for one member of our group, although he had reserved it and received confirmation. He ended up staying at a nearby hotel for 2.5 times the price.

The rooms themselves were mostly small. Mine was so small, you could not completely open the bathroom door without baning on the bed. To get to the window, you had to squeeze between bed and cupboard. Another room under the roof was not high enough to stand in and you were in danger of banging your head when you came into the room oder got out of the bathtub. Still it was priced the same as a regular room.

The heating was not turned on in any room although at night we had temperatures between 0 and 3 C.

Breakfast was OK but in the evening we went elsewhere after the disappointment of the first night when food was below expectations but at high tourist prices.
