Excellent service. Relaxing, and apealing atmosphere! This hotel seems well run, and well managed. The personel at front desk, bar and restaurant are welcoming and servic minded. However, the burge i order at the at restaurant had far too much bbq dressing on it! It was close to uneatable. An the burger itself was raw in the middle. Probably a one time event. All in all a great stay at a great hotel!

Nice hotel, not much within walking distance but the public transit is near and will get you downtown quickly. The water in the shower didn't stay a constant temperature and varied between hot and lukewarm which was annoying.

Only been to the restaurant, but I can say the food and staff are nice. Lovely interior design. Good food and nice buffets on Saturday.

I have stayed whole week for business conference in superior room. Room is clean, the bathroom is nice and tidy. There is place for renovation in many aspects, but I would like to express my highest appreciation on level of customer service of all your staff. From the very moment of check in Sunday evening to my check out Sunday morning. I remember Jules at the Reception desk, but also all of his colleagues, all waitresses, custodians, everyone Your team is young but educated and trully devoted to their work. I have traveled a lot for business and pleasure, and Van der Valk Hotel staff is on top of my list together with W on Times Square staff. This hotel is in desperate need of refurbishment the rooms are old worn and you can hear everything. Bad location away from central city. Slow staff who get things wrong regularly.
