Basic, boring, clean, not at all the comfort and service one would want to have yourself a good and relaxing treat for a day.
Yes it is clean and yes the food is of good quality. Most staf is reasonably friendly. Bur there it stops.
The interior is old, white, the general area has a lot of people and they dont seem to have a maximum amount of people to get in.
The main restaurant in the general area uses plastic cups for beer which gives a cheap feeling. The food is good however is expensive a uses a lot of cheap filling. A lot of the material looks outdated. Plants are of ourse plastic to keep maintenance low? And ofcourse the restaurant ar the general area is self service. Even if the food is not ready you get a beeper to go get your food yourself.
The various areas lay apart from eachother and are connected with unpersonal and hollow sounding corridors. The nude area is basic. Lighting unflatering. Bubblebath is present and so is the hammam. The wooden sauna seems to be placed without regards of the space it is in. and the finishing is showing defects here and there.
Then there is the massage. Costs a fortune and is performed in a seperate more luxurious space. But still you can feel the rythmic of the factory-style proces in which it is performed. The massage was more a tickling of the back then really performing a well thorough massage and relieving stress from the muscles.
Compared to for example the aachen spa, thermen 2000 valkenburg and elysium near rotterdam it just doesnt give that special feeling that you want to be pampered for just those couple of hours before stepping back in the real world.
So yes from the world renound spa i would have expected more.response / report this review -

A fun day of relaxing. always nice during the week but to loud and crowdy during the weekends. Expensive but ok with a groupon

Nice structure, especially the naturist part which is, as usual, much less crowded that the part open to families. Dressing room was not as clean as it should be, at the end of the day - it I must admit it was a very crowded mid-August day

The site is incredible and the coffee had a good variety of products (all of it served with salad, enough to eat two with only one sandwich!!). They have even air dryer! Strongly recommend!

Not at all what I've expected from a famous health resort and namesake of Spa. Small Sauna Landscape. General Restriction of Bathing Shoes (True!). Only Pro: Water seems to be really good for cure

Really expensive entry, waited 20 minutes to get in. Nothing special, just one big pool inside and a little one outside. Most women showers were closed because they were broken. You are not allowed to wear your own flip flops.

Beautiful place to relax and disconnect from the day to day stress! The spa offers lots of treatments. The restaurant is very good as well. Is a place to go alone or with your couple to spend the whole day.

could be good if better managed, only 1 machine for post paiement, cleanness and hygiene not always on top, sauna offer is limited only the natural environment saves the 2 star
