The young staff are warm and helpful, as compared to the grumpy older generation. Not luxurious food, but the mussels and choucroutes with meats are very good.

Wow, just wow. In the middle of grand place where all the tourist traps are you find this place. High quality food, cozy atmosphere and really friendly waiters. I highly recommend to eat here. In fact I always eat here when in Brussels

I've tried a lot of things on their menu and everything always comes out perfectly. Some people might find it expensive, but I think it's worth it (also, this city isnt cheap to eat in anyways, so might as well spend an extra € or 2 and get the best!) Everything is so rich and flavorful. Even something as simple as their mixed salad uses super high quality ingredients and well balanced flavors.

Very beautiful place. Located in a basement. This place is very nice and cosy. Dishes are very local and very tasty. A bit expensive but due to the location: on the "Grand Place".

Typical Belgian place (I was told by a Belgian). They brew their own beer, which tastes pretty good.
Good portions, good food. Really perfect when the weather is good and you can sit outside on the Grand Place.
Pricing surprisingly good, considering this is a very touristy area.response / report this review -

This cellar and it's outdoor area specialises in Belgian classic regional dishes such as beef stewed in beer (carbonnades), chicken or fish and vegetables cream stew (waterzooi), rabbit, puff pastry with chicken and mushrooms in white cream sauce (vol au vent) at decent Brussels prices in an intimate (close seating) and simple setting.

Atmosphere was nice and cozy, buy felt like an old diner at the same time. Service was very friendly and attentive and spoke English, however the food quality was just okay for the price. The prices were far too expensive for what it was.
