I bought a number of items at Suitsupply, to take with me back to Australia. I asked for a VAT refund, that was organised through an organisation called GlobalBlue. At the airport, I went to the tax-office to get the invoice stamped. Then to GlobalBlue for the refund.
It could take up to 6 weeks before I would get my VAT back.
Indeed, 6 months later, I receive a bank cheque with about 50% of the VAT in US dollars!
I didn't ask for US dollars. Euros would have been ok (as I paid in Euros) or Australian dollars would have been good too.
So an email to GlobalBlue to ask for a solution. Receive a nice auto-reply that they will get back to me in 5 working days. Now a month later, still no answer. Nothing!!

WIth other shops that I bought stuff from, they were really helpful to get the VAT refunded. Suitsupply could take that as an example! And should start with discontinuing the collaboration with GlobalBlue. What a deception!
