This is the best hostel I have stayed at during my 3 months in Europe. Massive rooms, great bar/breakfast. 10 minute walk to the central market. Wifi works well. Great free storage lockers for early arrivals/people leaving. Staff I found friendly. I cannot fault this place.

Modern hostel with a bar and a music hall in the back. Carole who works the front desk is the friendliest person I've ever met in any hostel or hotel. I don't know how she does it with so many people coming through.

The hostel is great! One of the best I've stayed in! Beds are comfortable and rooms and bathrooms are clean. The rooms have huge lockers and everything is renovated. Great bar with awesome deals, five beers for 11 euros (REAL beers)

The hostel is in a few minutes from the city's main square, where everything happens. The rooms are clean, quite big and comfortable. The bar has a lot of good Belgium beers and a nice cheese as well. Everything was excellent but the staff deserves an exclusive 5 stars recommendation. When they found that I was with my 1 year daughter, they offered me a baby crib. Of course this policy is not abnormal, but what made me feel very impressed was because they went out to buy a portable baby crib and blankets that were unboxed in front of me. What they did was amazing and I'm very thankful for my experience at Snuffel.

This place is awesome. It is really really clean, nice and neat. It has a bar and you get to meet new people. Prices are good and there's a beer card which you can get 5 beers for €11. Staff is great. There's a kitchen with several stoves/ranges. You have to stay here.

Clean rooms and restrooms. Lockers available. Cheap. Friendly staff. Good location. Definitely recommended. Only thing I would improve is more options for breakfast.

It was very clean and modern. Great atmosphere and location. Amazing price. Beds are a tad uncomfortable and pillows too small but a great hostel. Would recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely amazing experience at the Snuffel Backpackers Hostel. Staying for two nights and I've been pleasantly surprised throughout the visit. Breakfast included, nice rooms, bar at site. I was able to get ideas to check out sights around town, and even rent a bike for the day to explore further away. Friendly staff has been a pleasure to deal with. Would definitely recommend to anyone and stay again in the future.

Very welcoming and near to the city centre. The hall with the pub were full of kind and friendly people. Also the personnel was very kind and helpful about the check-in, check out and the info of the city (events, restaurants, pubs..). The was also the possibility to rent a bike (6€/day) and to buy a beer card to taste 5 different local beers. Highly recommended!

Very reasonable price. We had a room for 2 but no private bathroom. It has 2 showers for every gender and a toilet. We stayed here during the weekdays so there were no lines at all. Staffs were friendly and welcoming. The room is big and comfortable. Bed sheets and blankets are available and need to be sent to the reception upon checking out. We had breakfast buffet included and it was spectacular for this price range. There's a bar downstairs if that's your thing. The place is also near a bus stop and it's quite a short walk (6 minutes) to the town square so that's a plus. Overall excellent.

Welcoming and friendly, basic rooms with shared bathrooms, as expected of a hostel. Generous buffet breakfast with tea and coffee to make yourself. Bar open for entertainment in the evenings, and during the day, lovely beer selection and table games.
A good place to stay for the young at heart, as the music continues into the night, and is unavoidable as the modernistic rooms are built around the open courtyard where it is playing! Some of our party returned again later last year for another weekend as they had enjoyed it so much.
