  I've often wondered why they call this a park. Technically that may be right but it's nothing what you'd expect. Apart from the remnant of the old city wall not much is to be found there. You can take a short walk (you've seen everything after about 5mins) between kitsch fake rocks and waterfall. On sunny days every square meter of grass is occupied by chilling students.

  It's just a demo of some 3D motorized models. But it was not very pleasant to pack tens of noise-making silicon monsters in such a crowded space. Can be more attractive if there is a live show .

  It is the picnic place for anybody who lives in and around Leuven. Gets really busy in the sunny weather, but for a reason. It provides a lot of shadow under the trees where you can relax and enjoy your day.

  Nice park in the center of the city of Leuven, for strolling around or relaxing on the grass.
  During sunny days lot's of students taking a break here.
  Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the area.
  And luckily reasonably clean.
  One of the rare things: a free public toilet can be found in the park near the Tiensebaan.
