  The Belgian kings palace is not so big like the Buckingham's, but the megalomaniac idea is the same. If you saw one You know all, always the same: too much stones, too much windows, too much doors Too much decoration stuff made or paid from slaves from Congo. Just the history is interesting and gives you an little idea how much money the EUROPEAN institutions actually waste of your money in the present and the future! And the Belgian king must still lives in this building, only sometimes they are on vacation So the locals and the tourists can have a look behind the wall But who wants to see the actual Xmas decorations in summer times for get depressed. We recommend the more beautiful Royal gardens nearby, this is really amazing!

  I love this place. Very grand and the landscaping inside looks nice though I was not able to get inside the building. Taking a good photo outside is good enough for a remembrance of the place.

  Was open for public in July for free. Really a nice visit cos you get to see pretty much all of it. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours here especially since its coupled with some rotating exhibition at times. Even if it not, you can admire it from the outside.

  Impressive palace and gardens. Insides are full of historical items and very well maintained with good exposition of some items. There is even interactive room where younger audience can test and play with some simple science stands.
  Very nice décor and some of breath taking pieces of furniture and other day to day items of great value.

  A look into the the king and queens life at that palace. Nice historical tour. Activities for the kids. It is only open to visitors during the month of August when the king and queen go in vacation. They only use the palace for government functions. They do not live there.

  Impressive building, but the street just ahead seams to large for the day to day city life. At times is daunting to cross with all the buses and cars

  DOV: 20Feb2014 This is official palace of King and queen of Belgium and located at center of Brussels. This is a great and attractive building with an excellent garden on the front. 'Brussels garden', containing large area is just in front crossing the road. You can spend hours here.

  Beautiful building, one of the symbols of Brussels. Palace of the Royal family, it hosts only ceremonies (the King lives at Laeken).

  Another must visit in Brussels! Amazing Palace! Saw the guard changing shift. Not as grand as London ones though.
