Hof van Cleve misses the mark when compared to other three-Michelin titans: the service is slow, extremely slow even for Belgian standards. It took them 40 minutes for them to bring the menu, another 30 minutes for the bread and, after that, nothing really improved. Extremely French wine selection, with prices I wouldn't mind paying in Tokyo, London or Dubai. But, in the middle of Belgium, I don't think I need to pay extra for the real estate or the restaurant's rent. The menu was decent for a three-star Michelin but, unfortunately, the experience was not up to standard. A restaurant that will not bring any pleasant memories.

Outrageously expensive,!!! way too much food to eat. Kind of a non sense.
How did we get to create such a concept where one eats till exploding?
Food wise very interesting starters, excellent choice of wine and average main courses, excellent desert.
