In one word: impressive. This museum sets the standard. Highly recommended to all with even a passing interest in history.

Beautifully curated, and I like the space. Lots of information but didn't feel like an overload. The icing for me was Dance by visual artist Hans Op De Beeck. On the whole, quite an evocative experience.

With due respect to other great museums in Antwerp, this one is without any doubt my favourite. The story itself is attractive enough, but with exceptional arrangment of various items on display this museum brings history back to life. I particularly have enjoyed the letters by passengers (translated into English of course) and the short documentary.

A museum with very interesting stories. In term of the size, it's not too big. 2-3 hours is enough for museum enthusiasts and less if you are only interesting in screening the museum. The only thing that I feel slightly unsatisfied is the fact that there is still plenty of room for improvement. At the moment I just feel the nice collection and stories they have. They still can improve the concept of the museum to make it more interactive or connect it to the most recent immigration issue, that would be great. But overall, I like the museum.

Very intersting museum documenting migration from Europe to North-America around the beginning of the 20th century. The location has been excellently renovated and houses a modern, interactive experience. Probably my favourote museum in Antwerp.

Probably the most impressive museum I've ever visited so far. It has changed my view on the city of Antwerp and Belgium completely! A must-visit place in Antwerp for sure.

Great museum. I've been here several times and find always new things. The building is wonderful and leads you to different areas. A must-visit in Antwerp.

I liked this museum very much, it was an emotional journey of people searching for a better world and going through the exhibition you are able to walk in their shoes for a bit Making parallels with the current migrant crisis from the Middle East is unavoidable Highly recommendable!
