This is one of the best zoos we’ve been so far. There are different kind of animals, the lions walrus, elephants, giraffe were the kids fav. The pandas were fast asleep :-(. The zoo is huge and one day was not enough so will be going again.

This is a beautiful zoo! By far my favorite in Belgium, The park is divided into different sections 'like Asia, Europe etc.' that each have an amazing decor that represents it. With strategically placed restaurants throughout the park so you can always find food near you. You really have to attend the shows they have too, they're amazing. In my experience, I have learned that I can never finish the whole park in 1 day (you could if you would rush but that doesn't do this park justice, you should really take your time). So if you're a tourist you should stay in a hotel nearby and go for a weekend. You will definitely have a lot to explore!

I've never seen such a beautifully designed zoo. You don't see animals behind metal bars! Gardens and the architecture are artistic. The playground is fantastic. It's better to go there at the end of the visit unless you want to spend all day t here with kids.

This is the best zoo I've been to. Beautiful theme gardens, large compounds (sometimes it feels like you are on a safari trip), we really liked the possibility to be right next to the animals. You can feed giraffes here, pet lemurs, pelicans and kangaroos are walking freely around the bench you are sitting at, parrots will sit on your shoulder if you keep still for a moment. The zoo is huge, therefore you need at least a day here. If you come from Brussels it is much cheaper to buy the ticket together with the train ticket from the Belgian Rail machine. It is a bit of a walk to come from the train station to the zoo (around 15 Mins.), but the path goes through a nice village and a field on the left.

What a stunning zoo! The animals are staying in spacious eco displays and there's lots of detail in the zoo itself. There are many themes in this zoo and you can see animals you barely see in European zoos: koalas and emus for example.

There's also a huge outdoor playground for kids.

If you don't live close, it's definitely worth to book a hotel close by to visit this wonderful zoo. The entrance fee isn't expensive compared for what you can see.

Fantastic, huge Zoo, set up in various well executed themes like China, S.E Asia, Africa. Loads of space for the animals while still well observable. Plenty places for a well needed rest although a bit pricey. Reptiles place was way too hot to stay though and mostly shows turtles: cool but lil disappointing. Aquarium is nice but not matching up the quality of the rest of the park. Cool toilets though: check 'm out 😊
All lesser things easily made up by visiting the amazing white tigers, playful elephants, funny little monkeys and impressive show if birds of prey.
Two days absolutely required in order to see all: you will not manage more than half the park in a full day! Definitely worth while your stay.

Very beautiful park. You can easily spend the day here. The animals have big enclosures and it all looks quite natural. The different cultural themes give the experience an extra dimension.

Amazing place. loads of different animals to see as well as different exhibits. I was there for more than 6 hours and still didn't see everything. And that was spending the entire day rushing around trying to see everything. Orangutans and tigers and elephants. Everything. Definitely worth the visit.

Best zoo I've been to in a long time. The animals have a lot of space and seem well cared for. The zoo layout is very cool An adventure in its own right. If you need a WC while there, go to the side of the aquarium building. While in there, LOOK UP!

Really beautiful zoo park, with lot of different theme areas. One day it's not enough to see everything well, we came here at least 4 times and yet we discover something new. The ticket it's not cheap but it's worth.

A huge zoo with animals from all over the world. All areas are themed according to where the animals originate from. Be sure to be there in the morning before the zoo opens and head to the Asian area immediately to be able to see the pandas without having to stand in too long of a line. They have a ton of restaurants with varied prices and food from around the world and also a lot of little kiosks with souvenirs. The amazing experience makes the high admission fee more than worth it. Be sure to bring your waking/hiking boots. Absolutely gourgious.

This is one of the best zoos I've visited in my life. The season pass is totally worth it. They are always improving, the displays are great and the park is always clean. It's never too crowded. There is also a huge playground for kids!

A large domain where there are several - but not too many - animals. They seem well-treated and seem to have room. Some of the park infrastructure was under construction during my visit, some other needed some heavy refreshment.

However, the personnel is far from being polite: in the Panda cave, I barely had my camera out to snap a picture - without flash although it is very dark - that an employee yelled at us to "Take the picture and walk forward." That after more than an hour of line. At another place, we took refuge in the exit of the aquarium - it was raining quite hard - when an employee screamed at us for entering the "Exit." When someone told him we were just getting some shelter, he departed, cursing under his breath in French (too bad I heard what he said about "f tourists")

Some of the animals are in rather large enclosure: if you have a camera, something that goes up to 300mm or better 400mm will help. Otherwise, a good pair of binoculars is needed.

Overall, that was a good walk among animals. However, don't fool yourself: that is a zoo and regardless how beautiful they are, the animals are caged.
