Helpful staff especially to non Dutch speakers
more than half an hour delay trying to get to Brussels for the Brussels Summer Festival. Not a single week goes by without facing at least one serious dlay. I'm getting fed up with this.
Clean station, multilingual staff, places to eat and drink, seating on each platform for the elderly, ramps available for wheelchairs.
Nice and renovated train station
Definitely one of the most beautiful historical places in all over Europe. You should visit Grote Markt, take a seat in Notre Dame and enjoy the city hall, it's gorgeous. Also one of a kind Leuven University building is a must see. You can than get to Oude Markt, drink anything (Stella must) and relax.
You can't get lost between small streets in Leuven, but may visit many beer bars as well. Don't forget this is the city of beer and there are hundreds of different beers to taste.
It's only 20 mins away from Brussels by train. So don't miss the chance to visit Leuven.
Clean, beautiful, safe.
Really beautifully renovated train station, the ceilings, the wall paintings, even the floor it is truly a beautiful building, there are several shops on either side of the station, where you can get snacks or coffee. A lot of help-desks available, where you can buy tickets or get some information, also quite a lot of self-desk ticket-machines. Above the platform there is a really marvelous piece of architecture. Wheelchair accessible. Wonderful train station!
