  Previously Joost worked at Hof van Cleve (3 star restaurant) as a pastry chef (of course!!) No wonder he brings the perfection and attention to detail into his cake.
  Pros: best cakery in town with beautiful presentation and balanced flavor. Small cakes are available.
  Cons: you pay for quality, chocolate is not the best in Gent. Only take out.

  Very expensive, but delicious! The chocolate cake we had was not only gorgeous but it had great balance of flavours and textures. Definitely worth to try, even if too expensive to do so very often.
