A beautiful little campsite on an island, surrounded by a river. Being the Ardennes, you are surrounded by forest, this makes for an amazing location. We arrived towards the end of the school summer holidays so within a day or 2 of arriving it got quieter. The owners are very nice and look after you.

On the downside, the shop on site is very small and whilst it stocks basics we found ourselves heading to the Proxy supermarket at Corbion to stock up. The shower blocks have only a couple of showers each for male and female, I could imagine it being quite busy during peak periods. This fortunately wasn't an issue for us and we never had to wait for a shower. Generally the place is kept quite clean and tidy.

Overall I would go back there as we loved the peace and quiet. The children loved being able to play in the river each day (which is very shallow). There are many places to visit nearby both in Belgium and just across the border in France.

Beautiful surroundings. We're camping next to the shallow river, with a beautiful view on the surrounding hills. Owners are friendly. Sanitary buildings are cleaned frequently.

Rustige camping maar geen propere douches en ze hanteren niet de correcte prys naar gelang het seizoen en met acsi lidkaart.
Dus kortom, kan e mooie camping worden mits nodige verbeteringen en grondiger onderhoud.

Een erg leuke camping voor met kleine kinderen. Heel gezellig, leuk speeltuintje, en vriendelijke eigenaren. Mooie plekken aan de rivier. Het riviertje stond hoog toen wij er waren, daardoor konden we met banden een stukje de rivier afvaren. Normaal schijnt het water laag te staan en kun je dammetjes bouwen.
Een minpuntje: bij de ingang is het een beetje rommelig, er staat bijvoorbeeld een oude ongebruikte pipowagen, en de afvalbakken waren overvol.

Stayed for 7 nights in late July 2015 in a rented tent, tent was great with a fridge and furniture. The beds where very comfortable. The location is really beautiful and our children (5 and 2) loved the activities and playing in the river. The bar is good as well, nice beer!
