The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The bar and terrasse with a view over the Meuse was a very nice touch; enjoying a latte with such a beautiful sight was a great way to start my day.
A few pluses: the good selection of the 24 hours snacks made my late arrival very pleasant and the locker system to safely leave my luggage on my last day was very effective.response / report this review -

Free parking and free WiFi. Cozy hotel with functional.rooms. Basic, clean room with open wardrobe, floor length mirror, table and chair. Complimentary earbuds near bed - handy for light sleepers. The shower cubicle has a shower head and 2 shower jets. 24/7 bar, good service by hotel staff. Nice breakfast - waffle maker is a plus.

Very pleasant Ibis hotel in a perfect location in Dinant. Have stayed there many times and always found it most comfortable and convenient. Handy to walk into the town centre and a good touring base.

Without doubt this was the best Ibis hotel I have ever stayed in. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the location fantastic. Nothing could have been better. 10 out of 10!

Typical Ibis located on the river which I have stayed in twice before. You can really tell how good a hotel is by how they react when the unexpected happens as it did with us when the fire alarm went off at about 5am. The hotel was evacuated calmly and the casino next door opened up to let everyone in. Refreshments were brought in while the emergency services checked everything out. In the morning we were given a complimentary breakfast. When we arrived the car park was full but with a massive free public car park almost opposite this was not a problem.

My wife and I decided to tour the Ardenne on a motorcycle and as we had previously stayed at the Ibis Dinant last year we thought it an ideal place to use as a base for the week.
Weather was great, staff were attentive with Fabian on reception going above and beyond to ensure we had a list of all the local castles/chateau's to visit - what was worth a trip and what was not.
We paid the extra to have a view of the river just to keep my wife happy. Unfortunately as the weather in August was very warm this also meant we needed to keep the window open to stay cooler - there is air conditioning but this is too noisy to leave on during the night. Having the window open meant having to listen to the freight trains on the other bank of the river :)
What with that and being on the top floor meant we listened to the water cistern filling up in the attic space above our room.
Don't get me wrong, we had a great trip but had to wait for a rest until we got home and them we slept like logs.
Would I do it again, yes, in an instant. The area is beautiful and when they finish work on the Dinant promenade it will be even better. Only next time I will try a room on the ground floor facing the road :)response / report this review -

The hotel is in a lovely spot on the river in Dinant. We had a beautiful view from our window. The hotel was fine. Exactly as we expect when we book an Ibis - clean, smallish room and professional staff. No frills but exactly what you want when doing a long journey like we were. Bed was comfy and the parking was appreciated.

Good prices for famous local beers. Good beds offer a flawless night rest. Sunrise can be seen over the mountain while having breakfast. Splendid view of the river crossing the city. Free parking. Last but not least 24h snack and drinks available inside the hotel.

Hotel was good. The room was a little bit small and smelly. After opening the window for one hour it was ok. Staff was friendly.

Cheap place to stay right on the river. Quiet and quaint hotel. Would definitely recommended! Break is not included though. It's 14 Euros per person
