I really want to give this hotel a good review because the staff is so friendly and accommodating (free early check in and room upgrade) and the decor is very nice. Unfortunately, the hotel room itself was not in the best state. My room (#4) was very warm and stuffy and there was no way to cool it down without opening all of the windows because the A/C didn't work and the fan wasn't enough. But I couldn't sleep with the windows open because there is a bar directly next to the hotel that seemed popular among the teen crowd and was VERY noisy until well after 2 am. The light in the shower didn't work. The TV and cable box kept making a horrible sound until finally they stopped turning on altogether. It turned out to be the electric socket in which they were plugged. In theory this boutique hotel is great, but the rooms really need some repairing.

A beautiful hotel in a beautiful town. Location is perfect and in walking distance of all the lovely places to visit. I thought the service was really excellent. Thank you for all the great tips. I will definitely come back for more!!!
