An absolutely wonderful experience and a great hotel. The warmth and kindness of the staff was a particular standout. The location and furnishings are also spectacular. My only request would be for more late-checkout options; however, I realize this is not always practical for the hotel. Thanks to you all!

Nice hotel - fairly old fashioned but quiet and gracious. Went here for afternoon tea which was beautifully presented and delicious. Helpful friendly staff and a lovely location with a terrace overlooking the canal.

Such a nice and charming hotel. House is old, but romantic and well-kept and the staff was extremely nice and helpful. Breakfast was really good and the afternoon high tea with a glass of champagne was excellent as well.

It's pretty, certainly. The accommodations are medieval, however. The WiFi is spotty at best, the shower is a tub with a hand faucet, and the ceilings in the basement room are low enough that I hit my head whenever I got up. They attempt to charge $20 per person for breakfast at their buffet. Don't bother.
