The owners are two brothers who have an excellent contact with their clients. They gave very good advise and are very generous. The hotel is homy, cosy and classy. The breakfast is awesome and offers healthy foods. I will always come here in the future when I'll stay in Gent.
Great location with a 15min walk or a short tram ride to the city centre, near a park. Helpful staff.
I would never stay anywhere else in Ghent unless the Carlton wasn't available. The owners run it and couldn't be friendlier or more helpful. One of them recognized us on the street and stopped to ask us how we were getting on and if we had any questions. The rooms and common areas were clean and luxurious. There was virtually no room for improvement in my stay.
Cosy and great service in general
Comfortable, clean hotel with friendly staff
Great room, Great Staff, Great all
Nice hotel and near train station n walking distance to attractions
Good location, big rooms, friendly staff.
The perfect service ever !! They give you a big introduction of the cities (if you want) , not only about public transport, also bars, restaurants, and even tips & tricks about parking your car in Ghent :D. Lovely owners. Something that I can recommend.
Bis small Hotel with best Breakfast. Always go hear is Stay in Belgium. Breakfast Roth freshly made eggs to your wishes.
Really liked this hotel. The two brothers who run the place are super nice and provide the best service. They don't try at all to "nickel and dime" their customers at all and instead just charge a straight forward rate. The rooms are very nice and while the bathrooms are small they're nice enough. Breakfast was great and reasonably priced with cooked-to-order bacon and eggs plus a buffet with breads, pastries, meats, cheeses, fruits, yogurts, cereal, OJ, etc., etc., etc. Great location close to the tram, park and train station and great Belgian beer stocked in the fridge. One of the owners brought my mom cake and watched the bike race with her when I went out to the countryside one day!
We loved this hotel. The rooms are very spacious. The two brothers who own the hotel are very friendly and helpful - they clearly love their home town of Ghent & have some good tips on where to go & what to see. The breakfast was great - my kids loved it! The pancakes were particularly good.
We loved this hotel so much, we cut short our stay in Amsterdam to stay another night in Ghent on our way back to the UK.
