Mediocre to poor. Dirty, smelly, unwelcoming rooms, poor service. No privacy whatsoever with windows open. Old, cheap furnishing desperately needs updating. The breakfast is standard Best Western so nothing to say there.

Pea soup was excellent, rooms were very spacious, and ability to hang out of windows and speak to other schools was excellent. Oh yeah and did i mention the pea soup was excellent? PEA SOUP!!! ANYONE HAVE A RECIPE?????? XOX

It was in a good position for the motorway & about 10 minutes outside the town centre. The rooms were clean and comfortable but, on the lower floor it was quite dark and 'boxy'. The restaurant was very expensive overall and no options for vegetarians, with the exception of 3 cheese croquettes at 16E, available in town for 5E. The breakfast however, was excellent a large range of options and included in my room cost. Staff were fine and clearly busy. There are two medium car parking areas onsite and it's essentially in an industrial / wholesale area. A couple of nights would be fine here. It's about 1 hour & 10 minutes to the Eurotunnel terminal so ideal spot to break a journey.

Location was alright, outside the centre of town about 10 minutes drive in, there is ample parking. The rooms were clean, with air conditioning and heating. It was very quiet inside our room which was on the basement floor. Beds comfortable though rather quite soft. The restaurant was quite expensive and lacked any real vegitarian options, other than the cheese croquettes which were €16. So make sure your happy to go into town for dinner, some of the parking in town near the cathedral is free in the evenings so that's fine. Take very little notice of the info folder in the room, which says, water is available at reception (which it isn't, though you can buy it in the bar), they also mention the possibility of some complimentary items at the reception, I tried to get tooth brush and a comb neither were available, despite the information saying they would be happy to help. Breakfast is included, and quite good. Lots of bread items, a fair amount of cheese and meat available, fresh juice, tea and coffee all available. There were also various egg options and hot bacon. Over all, it was fine.

The room I was in, though new, was easily the tiniest I have been in. I had to back up to open the toilet door and shimmy around the sink to get to the toilet or shower. Finding the room was also a chore and a dark and dingy stair led up to it. Not happy.

I enjoyed it very much. Beds were extremely comfortable, the rooms were large and spacious with in suite bathrooms and the Breakfast was great. I greatly enjoyed my stay. Also it was close to the City Centre.
