Exceptionally tasty, fresh food and good service. Wide variety of food to buy in deli part of the establishment. Specialisation - kosher version of popular dishes (poultry, sweet and sour, etc), also Eastern European/Jewish fusion such as potato pancakes.

Stumbled into this place on the way to the put of Antwerp. Delicious food for a great price. You just don't get homemade salmon steak and veel dumplings for 15 euros anywhere else. I cannot believe how delicious this was.

Most famous kosher restaurant. Hungarian style, excellent food. Featured on TV with Jeroen Meeus. Run by the brothers Hoffman. Ask Motti Gestetner what is worthwile.

If you want to try real Yiddish food, go to Hoffy's. Be aware, as one of the owners told me, that it is not "Mediterranean food" -he meant Israeli or generic Hebrew food-, but Yiddish food, classical central European food. The Kosher version of what Germans or Polish were eating in the 19th century. They do have a delicious non Yiddish main course: the Sefardi style chicken -marinated with prunes and red wine-. The owners and the waiter are very nice and funny. They will recommend you good tasting options if, like me, you do not know much about their food. I found the gefilte fish and the taster platter particularly delicious. And don't forget to try their red and white horseradish!!! I think they call it "chrain or khreyn"

Every once in a while I make a stop here. The food is lovely and has a very home made taste to it. It's genuine traditional european jewish cuisine, and the tastes are quite simple, but this is exactly why you go to hoffy's: you can really taste the food instead of it being masked completely with so many herbs.

If kosher is all you can eat it's acceptable but after they re heat your food its pretty much snot you're eating. Go for the gefilte fish

Our family (kids 9 and 14) was warmly welcome, the staff offered to combine some dishes for us and we got to know a wide variety of great food. Thank you for this nice evening.
