Pretty dry, you really would need to be a Tintin fan to appreciate it (which I am not) they give you a kind of smartphone to give you some background to the exhibits. You can tell that they are trying so my stars are for effort but the amusement factor is lacking IMHO.

Plenty of Tintin and plenty of background on Herge. Easy to get there from Brussels main stations with cheap weekend tickets €6.40 return.

Informative. The audio guide adds to the experience. If you're a Tintin fan then you really should make a trip out here. I was a bit disappointed that they didn't have any Farsi books on displaybut they are hard to come by (the original Farsi Tintin translations).

One of the best museums I've ever been to. Probably not as interesting if you aren't an Hergé fan but still quite good value. Good balance of interactive stuff, films and books, and you get an audioguide included which goes into more detail and has extra pictures and films on the screen, as well as mini quizzes. Good 2-3 hours spent!

Awesome for any Herge/Tintin fan. Extremely hard to find given it is attached to a university campus undergoing massive renovation. As a result, satnav directions just don't work. Both the large underground car parks nearby and the campus would benefit from clearer and more obvious signs directing the visitor to the Museum.
The only let-down is the shop. It isn't selling anything you can't get in Tintin outlets in, say, London. Missing a trick here also, by not selling Tintin DVDs.

Very nice and interesting. We were at the museum on a Wednesday morning so no other visitors. Bother the building and the architecture is very appealing.

Nice museum. Plan on two hours here - that's how long the (free) audio tour is if you listen to everything.
