A wonderful place to stay if you like a little peace and quiet. I myself come from a small village on the country side. I don't like city's that much and did not want to stay in a Hotel in Mons. Luckily I found this charming guest Farm.
I arrived on 11 November, armistice day, a public holiday in Belgium which I was not aware of. Most shops were closed, I didn't have a car and was hungry. Ingrid and her husband offered me to join their family for dinner. A very heartwarming offer. But since I cannot eat Bread I had to get my own food.
Ingrid brought me to my wonderful apartment. Couch, kitchen, Automatic pellet Fireplace, clean bathroom and a nice bed.
They lent me a Bycicle and showed me which shop was open on armistice day. Now I was able to shop and cook dinner. This really made my day☺
Lying in front a cozy pellet fireplace, with a home cooked meal in my belly, reading a book. Is heaven compared to a hotel room.response / report this review -

Excellent quality. The room we stayed in was squeaky clean. We were provided with endless supply of thee and coffee in the room itself. There were extra bed sheets.
Bed was comfortable. Privacy was not an issue. Toilets and showers was separated. Enough plugs for all mobile devices. A TV with the local channels was provided too.
Even though it was on a big farm, we had no noise complaints. Always had good night rest.
The farm did provide with some funky smells, it did not penetrate the room we stayed in.
Breakfast was certainly enough. From cornflakes to warm bread. On top of that there was all kinds of spreads for it.
Many dairy produce was home made, so was the jam. It was an absolute feast. Highly recommended.
The people were nothing but kind and gentle. They have all my praise.

If you have never spent time on a farm then this is a place to try. The hosts speak multiple languages. We met people from Scotland and Belgium at breakfast. Quiet and comfortable we would do it again. If you are not driving then access via taxi to get their and use the bus to go into Mons. One upscale restaurant 1/4 mile down the road is romantic and very popular.

Un accueil chaleureux, deux chambres très confortables qui invitent d'emblée au bien-être et un petit déjeuner extrêmement généreux : trois atouts qui font de cette maison d'hôtes une adresse à recommander à tous les voyageurs en recherche d'un contact authentique avec leurs hôtes. Nous reviendrons avec beaucoup de plaisir !

Leben am Bauernhof, sehr freundlich, sehr gutes Frühstück mit selbst gemachten Produkte von der Farm wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt
