This is one of the largest city parks of Brussels. The main sight is the biggest church: the Basilica of Sacred heart. The park itself is good to get at near metro station. The locals love to have a run in the park and around, because there are not so much tourists.
Interesting, but probably mainly for locals. It doesn't seem really inviting or even walkable if you are not a resident from this area.
During the summer, if the weather is good, chances are it will be too warm. If it is rainy, windy or cold, I don't think many people will take the time to come here because it seems too exposed to the elements.
Really improved since the kids playground got renovated, there's also street gym and sport area. The little bar in the middle is the best part. Hope they'll keep it open all year round, not just the summer. There's also plenty of picnic lawns with great view to the city or the Basilique
Very nice park within the city. It is larger than it initially looks and is very well kept. The park has good quality paths running through it and is of symmetrical design. There is good public transport links to the park and it wasn't until we reached the other end that we realised there was a road running in a tunnel beneath us. The park has a play area and offers good views of the basilica.
This is an awesome park in Brussels. Carry your drinks and sandwiches with your friends and family to enjoy an evening while you hear the birds singing.
Lovely view. Great walking tour for tourists.
When you are in Brussels, must visit this park, its decoration and quietness near city center make you speechless, at one end of the park there is a subway station and on the other end is one of the most beautiful and biggest cathedrals in the world "National Basilica of the Sacred Heart"
Nice greeny place to chill on a sunny day
Massive church overlooking an equally large park. There is also a chocolate museum which is worth a visit. The park itself has seats and gardens and nice to take some time out.
Impressive church its a bit out though so plan your trip.
