Great variety of chocolate. Try the one with peppers!
Poor customer service!
If you want to buy dumon, don't go into the oldest shop. It is run by the old lady herself and she is very arrogant and doesn't attend properly unless you are buying in kg.
I asked her that I will like to know the different flavors that you have and will like to choose some of them. She said you will have to buy the box and didn't offer me the freedom to choose my own flavors.
The other two shops are run by younger generation and they are way nicer.
Also, the manufacturing is done at the same place outside bruge, so you will not be missing out on anything.
Good chocolate for reasonable price. Also a very cute little shop. Though very disappointed during visit since the owner was not service minded at all. "From the girl who just wanted to make her own chocolate box"
Chocolate was very good, but bit pricey like everything else in town
Delicious chocolates! Brought some home for myself and friends. The shop owner did a great job of helping me pick out a few favourites. I wish they had more white chocolate stuff available ready to go - ended up buying a big chunk of it - which tasted great, but was tricky to cut up and eat. But I would definitely go back for more.
Great chocolate! The stairs are very steep and you're not allowed to touch the chocolate (which was a bit scary at first as the sighs are posted everywhere), but the chocolate is very good. The shop is small, however, but with any other people in it, the space can feel very crowded so if you suffer from claustrophobia you may want to wait a minute.
Many great chocolate shops in Brugges and this is definitely one of the best. Surprisingly affordable prices. About 7 Euro for a good sized box of chocolates (about 18 pieces that you can choose)
One of the best chocolat shops in Bruges
Great shop in a beautiful old building in Bruges. Received a very warm welcome and help from staff and the chocolate here is amazing. You can make up your own variety boxes.
Great selection. Local. Highly recommended
Great central location just a block away from the Markt, situated in a tiny ancient building, Dumon is a family owned and operated artisanal chocolatier. You enter and take a few steps down into a small shop with a glass counter on your left loaded with a dazzling assortment of solid and filled confections. You can make up assorted selections of your favourites in virtually any amount you wish. Cash, credit, debit cards are accepted. You are often served by one of the family who might offer you a complimentary taste of something if you are polite and smile. Everyone is multi lingual, prices are very reasonable for the quality. You will not be disappointed.
Nice little chocolate place hidden away between buildings. The chocolate was very good an handmade but the prices were quite high. Don't come expecting a cheap buy.
