  I first went to this place 14 years ago. Even at that time it was very busy but still a nice place. But what I experienced yesterday was just terrible. We had booked a table. No one could tell us where to sit. Why booking a table if you have to search a table yourself? Tables were not cleaned. The staff didn't know what to do or where to start (students working only during the weekend? And not knowing the place?). When finally we ordered, we thought we finally could enjoy what we had ordered. Hélas 3 out of 4 orders arrived: pancakes were cold. The 4th person had to wait When we finally asked to pay, the waitress disappeared again. What a disappointment. The place has lost image.

  Skip the lunch options here (not worth it) and go straight for dessert. The waffles are great and the apple crepe will make you cry tears of joy.

  Great place for pannenkoeken (European dessert pancakes/crepes). The Apples ones are the best! Nice setting in the garden patio . . . Koi pond is a nice touch.

  great food, fancy place to try waffles. just one drawback - the place is very spacious with lots of columns so at some point during not-so-busy hour waitresses stopped noticing me :D

  Giving it 4 for the smoutebollen. The waffle came out burnt so had to send it back for another which was better. Also, if you're eating at a restaurant you shouldn't have to pay to use the bathroom.

  I hate when they don't offer free toilet for customers I already paid 20 euro, please let me wash my hands? Even small fast food plaves offer it.

  amazing waffles, but asking me to pay 40 cents for the toilet at a place where i pay 8 euro for a waffle
