Oh my goodness I have been waiting for years to eat here nice birthday surprise from the wife. Food beyond belief service fantastic friendly without being pompous or stuck up. The proprietor are lovely and looked after us. Even had a tour of the kitchen to meet the chefs after the meal. An absolutely wonderful evening. Book early to avoid disappointment. It is expensive but it is worth it even if it just once in your life.

My wife and I went here for our anniversary. It was amazing! This is our first time to a Michelin restaurant so I don't have anything to compare it to but we thought it was amazing! Staff was great and food was terrific.

Updated review: I haven't been to Comme Chez Soi in more than 15 years, so it was about time to go back. It used to be a place one would go to because it was the front-liner in traditional Belgian cuisine in a unique Art Nouveau building.

It is refreshing to experience that the kitchen has taken a turn towards more innovative cuisine, thanks to the new generation that stepped in. In the menu, I preferred the modern dishes we had vs. the traditional ones. The service was impeccable and I loved the little details they added, such as the option to serve more of the main dish if you wanted to. I still think the kitchen needs to break the chains and refresh itself more but, today, it is absolutely one of the best three restaurants in Belgium. Congrats.

Very nice, but definitely not at the 2 star Michelin level. Very friendly service, but a touch slack - had to wait a lot on refills for drinks for example. If you put the wine and water out of reach, you need to be ready to fill it up. Main courses were superb - these are usually harder to impress with, I find. But other dishes were a bit weak for a restaurant of this caliber. Very nice decor - original Art Nouveau. Altogether a very fine place, but I'd hope Brussels had more to offer. One very positive note - the wine list is fabulous!

Undoubtedly my favourite restaurant in Brussels: wonderfully attentive service, beautiful decor and exquisitely delicious food (and wine to match!) Who could ask for more?

Top class food and service. Prices are very steep but it's worth it! No complaints here
