Great place, friendly people but the closets to put your stuff in can be annoying at times. Just simply have a lock and key system and a number attacked to the key. saves man/woman power from the security. It also keeps it simple, especially when you have been doing research since 9am and you get off at 6pm.. you tend to be a bit groggy. Otherwise great library with a wealth of information and a great online catalogue.

Great view from the tower. Very nice library. Unfortunately the east asian library was closed when we visited so four stars. Besides that, really worth the visit and the audioguide

I would suggest you to keep your train ticket, & get a discount for entrance package. highly recommended to climb the tower. It was little disappointing in the interior though. I was expecting more classic ones. can't really feel the historical vibe. & the buddah statute was somehow annoying.

Really amazing library, really historical.
Imagine a really beautiful ancient library.
Best visited during when the students aren't studying ( not in december, january, June) since they go to study here.

Beautiful library, destroyed during wartime but rebuilt afterwards. Try to book a tour to the carillon at the top for an amazing view of the city as well as a deafening private concert using the many bells in the tower.
