The most beautiful place in Antwerp, for sure!

This Gothic style cathedral is probably the focal point of beauty in the entire city of Antwerp. It's full of intricate works. And I mean both on the outside and on the inside. Made out of stone, out of wood, painted - the cathedral has it all.

Once you're inside and you're lucky enough to hear the organ play, you will be blown away by this experience. The tall style of the building and the organ will really shake you to the core and make you feel awe.

Another great thing is the area around the cathedral, on the outside. There are many beautiful historic houses and it's the perfect place to feel and experience what the place might have been like back in history.

It's definitely a trip that's worth doing for anyone. Even if you don't usually like cathedrals or churches or mass - you don't often get to see a gigantic monument of culture like this one. It's the real experience and will make you and whoever is coming with you remember what's possible for humans. If we work together, we can even build a giant, beautiful building to come together for hundreds of years.

Cathedral of Our Lady is beautiful and full of treasures, painting from 17 century signed by Rubens and amazing woods ornements. The outside is also interesting and I love to sit on a terrace and enjoy the view.

The cathedral is beautiful to look at, especially from the outside, and definitely deserves a place among the highlights of Antwerp. The inside is quite nice too, but the clinically white walls feel just off. There are some nice works of art and you can even visit the catacomb (albeit a little one) but if you've seen some other cathedrals, this one has little new to offer. It has enough to justify its €6 entry fee, but you might as well just appreciate it from the outside for free.

Great Cathedral, but not as great as it used to be

These days, Antwerp Cathedral is as picturesque an example of Gothic Religious Architecture as you could hope wish for. Immensely ornate and home to a sizable collection of art treasures, it's well worth taking a couple of hours to look around learn about.

Pro-Tip: Along the southern Aisle you'll find an inconspicuous staircase, leading to the Catacombs. The space below is cramped, and not for the claustrophobic, but it provides a fascinating insight into burial arrangements, as they were in the building's heyday.

With that said, these days it has a sanitized, over-groomed feel, compared to the way it was before its renovation back in the early 90's.

Nevertheless, no visit to Antwerp would be complete without a tour of this legendary piece of religious history.

The magnificent Cathedral of Our Lady with its splendid artwork keeps inspiring people every day. Its mass on Sunday is one of the best and most beautiful Catholic masses in Belgium.

With even some Rubens on display, the Cathedral of Our Lady Antwerp has to be one of the most gorgeous in this part of the world. Will cost you to get in, but definitely worth a visit to this iconic cathedral.

The most beautiful cathedral of the Benelux and beyond. Check out the artwork: amazing works by Rubens and a beautiful new statue by Fabre. Another highlight is the grand organ with over 5000 pipes. You haven't seen Antwerp if you skip her stunning cathedral.

Beautiful cathedral with some remarkable Rubens paintings. Admission gets you an info pamphlet which does a good job at covering the highlights. The paintings also have commentary. Overall, much more interesting that your normal church visit.
