The camping itself is really cool. The old man at the reception was the bummer for me, doesn't speak English, as rude as he could've been. A real pity. Aside from that the services are clean and warm.

Worst campsite I've ever visited.

Nice site with individual areas lined with trees. Good clean facilities, however only 2 showers & 2 toilets per sex (may be an issue in busy times). We stayed a night and it was good.

This is a perfectly nice campsite on the edge of Tournai. Although the sign at the gate says max length for caravans is 7 metres, there was no problem with our 7.75 metre motorhome.
The pitches are private with laurel hedges on three sides, electric hookup, grey water outlet and drinking water on each pitch.
We managed to get a pitch about three pitches away from the road so the daytime noise wasn't bad. As others have advised, try and find one away from the roundabout. We were allowed to pick any pitch .
Using my almost long-forgotten schoolboy French I got booked in and had no problems with the man at reception, who reciprocated by throwing in a bit of English when I got totally stuck.
All in all for just over 16 Euros, a site well worth a visit.response / report this review -

Schöner Stellplatz mit parzellierten Plätzen auf festem Rasen. Asphaltierte Straßen, Plätze mit Wasser und Strom, sehr sauber. Sanitäre Anlagen einfach aber in gutem Zustand, Räume angenehm geheizt. Direkt neben dem Aqua Zentrum, relativ ruhig, sehr zu empfehlen. Von hier mit dem Fahrrad zur Stadt teilweise über Fahrradwege knapp 3 km in 10 Minuten.

A wonderful campsite with green grass and heated toilet rooms. We only payed 9 euros for 2 adults with 2 bikes and a tent. We didn't have noise problems.

The change of management last year did this site no favours. We have been there several times before and all was fine, friendly, helpful staff, our last visit was downright unpleasant. Won't be back.

Very NOISY campsite. Very UNfriendly personnel. The campsite was quite empty (september 2013) but the manager would not allow us to change places and put our tent in a less noisy corner. We had been cycling all day and were obviously tired, but we had to take the pitch right next to the (busy) road. NOT NICE at all. If you can, go elsewhere! The people next to us had a camper and could close the door at night but they were not happy either because of the NOISE!!!
