Tried to compensate with how awful they are with their free piano. Don’t do it. Stop. Do not pass go. Do not collect $200. DO NOT USE THIS AIRPORT! Ps the food selection is awful too. SMH.

It's an airport what u expecting. I'm on way home. From Brussels good holiday nice places. Restroom as well. Bar lots of places to go shopping plenty of food bars. Lifts as well.

Modern and clean airport.
Free restroom and a good selection of snack bar. A security control before you enter in to the airport.
Expensive car parking.

Is it the airport of the country which is calling as "Heart of the Europe" ? DISAPPOINTMENT ! Everything is so wrong! There is no transportation during the night and when the people want to stay inside the airport until the morning, it is also forbidden due to security measures. So, you have only three options;
1. Pay 50 or more euros to go somewhere else from the airport.
2. Stay outside during the night and get robbed or die from cold.
3. Walk approximately 3-4 hours to reach closest train station.
CHEAP PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION IS NECESSARY DURING THE NIGHT!!!response / report this review -

I was dropping off my parents at this airport for an early morning flight. I cannot comment on the airport terminal itself but there are Two things to keep in mind about access to the airport: one is that Charleroi airport is located at least 45 minutes driving on a freeway from Brussels which makes it very inconvenient compared to the main airport located 20 min away from Brussels.
Second, the access to Charleroi airport is thru a series of roundabouts and straight into a multi-storey parking facility. Therefore, there is no drop-off area, There is no clear understanding of where the terminal is. Simply awful place.response / report this review -

Nice clean and relatively big airport. No problem with security check and find boarding gate etc. Staff is helpful and nice. But the location is far from city. 15.8 euro train+ bus ticket is extremely expensive.

It's not even in Brussels. That's confusing!
But really average airport. No great ways of connecting. So you have to take around 17€+- bus ticket..response / report this review -

This place is so f**cked up. Currently you can not drop off or pick up passengers anywhere. There is no access to departures of arrival areas by car.
We drove into P2 the closest place to drop off my son. It's a one way street with no warnings about high cars. We have cycles on the roof and measure more than 2,75m so we got stuck at the entrance to the parking lot. Someone needs to re-think the online information about this airportresponse / report this review -

Pretty good airport with a good connection and easy access. Staff is kind and concerned about the well-being of people. You don't have an express car park anymore but last time I paid 3€ for 50 mins which is worth paying, especially because you can easily find a parking spot near the lifts. Don't forget that this is an airport with low cost airlines; of course you won't find some services like you do in larger airports, that's not what most passengers are looking for with a low cost airline though.

Airport is small and crowded. High security, which is understandable. When reaching back and arriving at terminal two it's hard to find your way out to the bus station (u need to go up two floor's by the stairs) and the place where p3 bus stops (at regular busstop 6)

Many of you are probably flying in with a low cost airline, naively thinking you'll be in Brussels in no time. Wrong! The first thing that greets you once you get off the landing strip is a big ass line to the ticket counter. On a Friday morning during Easter there's exactly one person in charge of all ticket sales, which by the way are handled fully manually at 17 euros a pop. 17!!! (If you're psychic they can be bought for 5 euros online, but how is a first timer supposed to know that?). Anyway, during this wait you'll probably see the first bus pass before you have your ticket. When you finally get your ticket you'll probably also see the second bus pass, as there's no more room. You see, there's only ONE bus to the heart of Europe, every 30 minutes from Charleroi. The ride itself also takes like 45 minutes with standard traffic. All in all, this ordeal takes about 2 hours extra.

The airport is totally mess. Nothing to eat normaly here. Or it very expensive. What to do to people who is waiting for another flight a longer time? The exit of the plane is too very messy. Very disapointed about this airport.

The parking is a total mess. No kiss and fly. After 15 min you are charged 3 eur. P1 forget it hyper congested, cars parked in places they should not. Parking 2 far away and often with little parking space unless you walk for 30 min to reach the terminal. One of the worst I have ever seen. Not to talk about the conditions traveller are left in went they want to take the shuttle to Brussels or Lille.
