Very poor layout. Too long ways. Arrivals and departures are basically thrown in one big hall. Signage mediocre. Poorly organized in case of weather.

Horrible. Outside the airport: nightmare. Signs are bad and/or confusing. Sometimes there are none.
Inside the airport: better signs but being shepherded through a maze of shops (literally a few S-curves through shops before you reach Terminal A hall) is annoying.

Transfer is terrible, even with the same airline you need go through the long transfer security scan - it’s faster leaving the airport and recheck in again. It gets two star only because it’s easy to find your way around and your gates.

One of the best airports I have been to. Massive space to wait, relax and have a beer; shopping opportunities if that’s your thing. Free internet and power plugs at pretty much every seat. So you can easily spend a couple of hours between flights working or relaxing.

Modern looking spacious airport, lots of Windows that look out over the tarmac. Easy to find your way thanks to well placed signs.

Brussels is a beautiful historical city to visit. I had amazing time with my family. Lots of things to do for all ages and interest.

Pleasant airport to fly all over Europe. Parking at a reasonable price. ( approx. 105 Euros per week ). Recommend the restaurant "Black Pearls" inside the terminal.

I absolutely love this airport. It's clean, spacious and with a lot of windows to look outside from. The staff has always been very friendly to me and everything from check-in to security to boarding always went nicely and smooth. It also appears to be the airport with the best restrooms (in my opinion).

2 stars because of the restrooms. All other experiences were smooth. We passed check-in around 8. The entrance to the main toilets inside the terminal core was blocked by the cleaning lady for at least half an hour, with a queue of 25+ people waiting. That was completely unnecessary while she was slowly cleaning the mirrors and the main floor, but she completely refused to let the people in when people in the queue asked her. She was quite rude. After this was done, the same thing happened for the men's restroom, and my partner couldn't go in either. When he tried to ask how long it would take, the cleaning lady (while on her cell phone) told him off rudely. So we had to find other toilets along the gates, 2 in total. First was blocked off completely, both men & women. Ended up at the third and quite late for the flight.
Please make some efficiency/quality and customer friendliness checks for the restroom maintenance.response / report this review -

First time visiting Belgium. Unlike many other europe country, the airport staffs from Belgium were very friendly! Their passport custom clearance were very efficient and fast despite long queue and only 3 counters. Keep it up!

Mediocre international airport. Quite new, modern and fast. I can recommend their app: gives good info on gates and waiting queues.
They're quite irrational-security-crazy after the horrible terrorist attack of 2016. Especially the situation outside the airport doesn't look very professional: they closed down the kiss & ride at the entrance of the airport, everyone has to queue in the parking lot nowbetter to go by train (only 10min from Brussels). Sadly there are time-waisting security checks in the trainstation as well.response / report this review -

I'll discuss different aspects:
1. Soldiers everywhere. Besides for holding a machine gun, how does it improve security? If you come from the train station / bus station (-1 / 0) no soldiers stand there. They just want to make sure you paid the "diablo" surcharge for the train, that's it.
2. Like some other airports, they force you to zigzag through the duty free shops, which is lovely with a lot of luggage or when traveling with kids
3. Special assistance will not be given to single parent with little kids (you only have 2 hands,a pram, 1-2 trolleys.
4. If you didn't order special assistance 24h in advance, even if feeling sick, they will refuse to take you along, even if they are driving empty
5. When older people get driven around with a wheelchair, they will practically force you to tip them. If you have a longer layover, you just get dumped somewhere in the meantime (that could mean 6h-8h with no possibility to have a drink or eat.
Just to clarify: I've flown in and out of BRU airport several hundred times already.
The only compliment is that water is now available at 1 Euro.response / report this review -

Brussels is one of my main airports, i come through here at least every other month. I don't know if it is because of the times i generally travel at, but I've never really had more than a 10 minute wait in security. And thanks to my status with Scandinavian airlines i don't have to wait while checking in either.
The food offerings are pretty decent, and a tiny bit more affordable than most European airports.
The non-Europe gates from the B terminal are not so nice though. But I've only been there once so i can't say too much about itresponse / report this review
