This restaurant is off the beaten path and clearly has a strong following. Multiple customers came by while we were eating on the patio stating they always visit this place when they visit from out of town. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I had the pork stew, and it was very tender. The kriek sauce it was cooked in was wonderfully rich with just a hint of cherry. My wife had the mussels, and the only disappointment was that there were a few shells without mussels in them. Otherwise, we were extremely satisfied, and would recommend this place over any of the restaurants in the market.

High priced, mediocre food which might have been tolerated but for the waiter who mocked members of our group, thus marring our evening.

Slow, very slow service and 1 Star meal @ 5 star prices. The moules were inedible as they had added 10 times too much salt.

Located a bit off the beaten path near Jan van Eyckplein. Spacious outdoor seating area adjacent to the canal, plus an intimate attractive dining room serving a variety of dishes, all of which are delicious. Multilingual menus and attentive servers. We prefer sitting outside in good weather, especially for brunch, lunch, or afternoon snacks and a drink.
