Basic hotel. Nothing in the walkable surroundings. Luxembourg is easily reachable by car. No charging facility for electric cars. A bit to expensive for what you get.
Somewhere between 3 and 4 rating stars, but more like 4. This place offers a good night's sleep at reasonable prices. If you stay there, always remember you are close to Luxembourg.
The rooms remind you of an America Motel Room, just very spacious. They are clean, actually quite nice, but you want to keep windows closed, as the hotel is very close to a busy highway and that'll rob you off your sleep. As there is no air conditioning, this might be an issue in Summer, but surely is not in October.
The location of the hotel means that you'll want to arrive by car and if you don't want to eat in the restaurant downstairs, you'll need a car again. My colleagues and I decided to eat downstairs and that would only get a low 3 stars from me. I had a tomato soup, which was actually worse than most canned soups, but I also had a green salat (which wasn't on the menu, but they accommodated my culinary needs non the less) and that was really well done.
Breakfast was quite ok, if you like Croissants and Fresh Orange Juice. They have a nice idea of letting you boil your own eggs, but the water wasn't quite hot enough, so despite following instructions I ended up with a terribly undercooked egg. But selection is quite fine.
The Check-In Experience was quite terrible, but once someone finally felt like assisting us, it was quick and efficient.
A touring and business focussed hotel on the outskirts of town. Good spacious room, with a coffee machine, fridge and safe, and plenty of parking. Breakfast is acceptable, though the "omlettes" were like leather. Getting scruffy and dated now, and the bathrooms in particular need overhauling. Some English and other European TV channels were available. Comfortable bed and very quiet at night. Expensive for what it provides overall however.
This place felt more like a motel than a hotel. The lobby was filthy which made me nervous to see the room. We entered and again the floors looked like they hadent been vacuumed in weeks and the bathroom was filthy. I had to clean gunk off of the walls before i felt comfortable enough to use the shower. The only thing that stopped me from rating it a 1 was the free buffet breakfast, that was enjoyable. If only the room had been clean
Value for Money accommodation close to Luxembourg border
A nice functional room with a great breakfast included in the price. There was plenty of parking but no air con and Internet did not work. Very pleasant staff and would stay again.
Not far from the motorway but far enough to be away from the noise. Quiet location giving a feeling of safety. Good rooms. Adequate parking. Good self service breakfast.
Nice hotel with quiet environment. Not too far from Luxembourg. Near to IKEA.
Its ok. If you need a place to sleep its ok. Not the best service, had to ask more than once for the wifi information, English skills of the staff was not that great
Old stylish hotel, fornitures and equipments; the rooms are really nosy : it seemed to sleep the windows opened! But really nice service and good restaurant.
Very accessible on your way to Luxembourg. Spacious no frills room, good shower and comfortable bed. Breakfast is quite adequate. WiFi connection was free and fast. The only minus was that the coffeemaker wasn't properly rinsed, so that gave a bad taste.
We enjoyd the short time we spend in the hotel. Next year we will come back, memories of holidays with my parents who past away. Good service, kind and very correct people, nice cleaned rooms. Perfect breakfast, totally super!, I will come back next year again for a longer time! Thanks for the perfect services!
Best regards,
