I only tried the Avocado salad and was disappointed considering it's price. Otherwise, the choice of tarts and beer is excellent and the ambient is welcoming. A good, but not great, place for a quick dinner if you're wandering in the area.

Ate there several times while in Brussels, and the food was excellent each time, and pretty cheap! Great beer selection and very attentive staff (although one or two do not speak English, but we were able to communicate in French).

Went already several times to Arcadi. And every time I had a good lunch at a reasonable price. The quiche with asparagus was really delicious!

There's often a wait, but the food is always worth it. Try their pies and desserts, which are absolutely divine. The raspberry meringue tart is to die for!

I come to this place about twice a year for 6 years now. Have eaten tasty meals twice, but each and every time enjoyed great desserts. The chocolate pie and pies with fruits and Italian meringue are fantastic. Price is a little bit on the higher side for budget people, but this is nothing over the top if you're looking for a nice place to have a small bite (would mainly recommend desserts) during a visit.
As a response to other comments:
* Have never been asked for a tip, but have to agree the staff is busy and can appear unfriendly. Still correct and fast serving.
* No tap water and expensive drinks (e.g. water 3-6euro/0,5L - 4-8euro/1L) is usual in Belgium. The cheapest drinks here are mainly Coke or pils beers.
* This is not a vegetarian restaurant but you can certainly find a few lovely veggie things here.response / report this review -

Great little cafe, well priced compared to other places close by. Big beer menu, didn't try the food but cakes looked good.

Great local Belgian food. Recommended to me by the hotel as not a typical spot for tourists but a resto frequented by the people of Belgium. Large menu, so lots of choices. Many Belgian choices and their house speciality is there take on Lasagne! Yum!

Nice place on the corner of the arcades. They serve very decent meals for a fair price. And they have skilled personnel.
