  Ancient and very rich historical pond.
  
  Ancient times there was no water supply in Dhaka. people was depend of pond.
  
  Bangshal area established for this pond . people were fully dependent by this pond. . It's was main drinking water source.
  
  If look carefully there are many narrow galli are based of pond. .
  
  Today's still pond is young. Once there was lots of pond in old Dhaka. . most of them covered. .very few of ponds are still alive. .. water is directly drinkable. ..
  
  Bongshal people are very careful about this pond. still they taking care very nicely.
