This place was named after "Ukilbari" about 30 years ago when my elder uncle Md. Abdul Quddus became the first advocate (Ukil) of this village because it is the birthplace (bari) of him. It is situated in the village called Notun Dorbeshpur under Meherpur Sadar Upazilla which is first village of Meherpur district in the Chuadanga-Meherpur Highway. It is now a popular Bus stand/stop where almost every local service bus regularly stops.
There are also some Grocery shops and Tea-stalls here from where people can take snacks.response / report this review
