  This is the place where you need to a take boat if you want to go Nafakhum or Amiakhum. This is just an entrance of some of the Bandarban's most beautiful area. But as there is a Bazar near so this place is getting loaded with trash and disposals.

  Thanchi is located in the south-eastern part of Bangladesh. Its an upazilla (administrative unit) of Bandarban District. Thanchi is popular to the tourist for having for its beautiful landscape. The popular destinations are- Ruma, remakri, nafakhum, modok etc.

  From here you can get boat to remarki through Shangu river. You have book the boat earlier if you are in a group. otherwise it can't be guranteed whether you will get boat on time. it will take three to four hours to reach remarki. you need to take lunch here before you start.

  This is only noukha ghat at thanchi From this ghat you can go Tindu, remakri, nafakum, amiakhum , velakhum, shatvhaikhum etc place.
